This project will integrate the use of technology and the topic "  The Trail of Tears".  Eighth grade students will create an interview format to be used for interviewing Native Americans whose ancestors were Cherokees on the Trail of Tears, or whose ancestors hid out in the mountains, or who were granted permission to remain in the mountains of western North Carolina. The students will use multimedia to present this interview.
